Benefit for risk during breastfeeding < Go back

This service allows you to request, via the Electronic Register, the medical certificate of risk and the benefit for risk during breastfeeding when its management corresponds to the INSS.

About this procedure

Who it is for

For registered workers who want to request the medical certificate of risk  and/or the benefit for risk during breastfeeding.

What you can do

  • Apply for the medical certificate of risk via the Electronic Register.
  • Complete an Electronic Register application for the benefit.
  • In the case of artists during the inactivity period, they can apply for pregnancy and breastfeeding allowance through this service.
  • Download and attach the form.
  • Attach documentation.

What you need to do it

  • Complete the corresponding application forms .
  • In the case of artists, they must fill in the corresponding form(s) for the application for allowance during the inactivity period of pregnant or breastfeeding artists.
  • Attach copies of all documents detailed in the instructions.
  • Have software that allows you to fill in  and save the application form to then be attached.

Please note

If you are logging in with a Username + Password (permanent Cl@ve), in order to guarantee a higher level of security, you will be sent a code via SMS to the mobile number that you provided at the time of registration. You must enter this code in order to sign the communication in the electronic register.

The Remarks section should only be filled in when an application form is not attached, stating all the information required in order to process the benefit.

Your connection has a time limit. Therefore, if your session times out while filling in the application form you have to restart the session and complete the items pending.

You must provide documentation stating that you are no longer susceptible to any cause of incompatibility that until now would prevent you from receiving the benefit.

If you are acting as a representative, you must attach the standardised representation form, which can be found in the accompanying documents section, or any legally valid document that is proof of the representation.

If you access as a power of attorney, you must be registered in the Electronic Register of Powers of Attorney.

The total size of the documents to be attached must not exceed 10 Mb.

Next steps

Once the process has been completed, you will receive a “proof of receipt” in PDF format.

If you do not receive the confirmation message, or if you receive an error or failed sending message, you should resubmit the application at another time or use other channels.

The Spanish National Social Security Institute will adopt the corresponding resolution, which will be exclusively issued electronically and made available via the Telematic Notifications service.
