If you don't find what you are looking for on the Social Security page or if you have any questions, please contact ISSA, our assistant.
If you still need help, you can send us your question through the enquiry mailbox for Social Security. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
In addition, we will attend to you from Monday to Friday:

On 901 50 20 20 50 and 915 41 02 91 from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. (M-F) except public holidays, for queries about Social Security affiliation, contributions and payment of debts.
At 901 16 65 65 and 915 42 11 76 from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. (Mon-Fri), except holidays, for queries about pensions and economic benefits.
On 020 from 9.00 am to 2.30 pm (Mon-Fri), except public holidays, for information on the Minimum Vital Income.

2. Procedures and personal enquiries

. What procedures can I complete online?
Social Security offers services related to:
- Social Security affiliation
- Contributions and payment of debts
- Pensions and benefits
- Other procedures for Sea Workers
User guide. Electronic register for sea workers (ISM)

Access your data, view reports and complete procedures online via the e-Office identifying yourself electronically. You can also find the procedure you are looking for with the help of ISSA, our assistant.
. What forms of identification are there and how can I get them?
Depending on the procedure you want to complete, you will be asked for a form of identification to ensure your identity and security.

If you have a digital certificate or electronic DNI you can complete all procedures online. See the certificates accepted by the Social Security. To get the certificate from the Spanish Royal Mint, go to the Royal Mint Headquarters. Once you have obtained the application code, you must prove your identity at an administration office. Send a request, selecting the “Digital certificate/ Cl@ve" category, to do so at a Social Security office. We will contact you to arrange an appointment.

You have access to all services using Permanent Cl@ve. You can register:
- Online, if you already have a digital certificate or electronic DNI.
- Send a request, selecting the "Electronic certificate/ Cl@ve” category. We will contact you to arrange an appointment.
- At an office, requesting a Prior appointment.
With Cl@ve PIN not accredited in person, you will have access to these procedures. If you don't have it, request it at Cl@ve.

Social Security has procedures that can be accessed by verifying your personal details via SMS. Please note that your contact details need to be updated. You can notify or modify them at Telephone number and email modification and notification or by Sending a request form.
. Can I complete procedures or personal queries without electronic identification?
If you need to complete a procedure without electronic identification:
- To obtain a report on your working life or contribution bases, to carry out any procedure related to domestic employment or self-employment, or to make enquiries about payments and debts, send a request from the Social Security General Treasury Portal (Import@ss). You can also update your contact details or address.
- For pensions and benefits from the National Social Security Institute, access the Application and procedures for Social Security benefits service without a certificate. You can also obtain the full benefits certificate,the IRPF certificate, non-pensioner certificate and the European Health Insurance Card via SMS.
- For procedures related to workers, go to the Filing of other documents, applications and communicationsservice from the option without certificate.
You can request and receive working life and bases and payments reports at your home, among others, as well as the European Health Insurance Card. Please note that your address must be updated. You can change it by sending a request.
