You can use this service to consult and obtain the document that accredits the right to receive public medical assistance.

About this procedure

Who it is for

People who want to check whether they have the right to receive public medical assistance as insured parties or beneficiaries of an insured party.

What you can do

  • Check that you are covered by the insurance or are a beneficiary of the right to public medical assistance.
  • Obtain the document that certifies the right to receive public medical assistance.

What you need to do it

You must complete the information requested by the application and it can only be obtained in your own name. If you would like a document accrediting entitlement to public medical assistance, mark this option in the relevant section.

Please note

The certificate obtained certifies your rights as an insured person or beneficiary.

The service will indicate if the consulted person is in one of the following situations:

  • They have the right to receive medical assistance as an insured party or beneficiary. In this case, they can obtain the relevant certificate.
  • The person consulted cannot be found, indicating in this case the possible reasons why and the action to take in each case.

Next steps

Once you have provided the required information, you will be assigned a reference number which you must use for signing in to the service again within a period of no less than 15 minutes in order to obtain the information. However, if you provide your email address you will also be sent a reply by email.

The information will be available in the service for 30 days, enabling you to verify it using the reference number provided.
