Debtors to the Social Security, whether citizens or employers.
What you can do
Using this service you can pay the following types of debt with a credit or debit card:
- Debt settlements,
- Debt claim,
- Settlement report,
- Enforcement order,
- Enforcement proceeding,
- The amount of payments that may not be deferred regarding postponement cases, and also amounts for at least one third of the deferrable debt for postponements under 250,000 euros that are exempt from providing a guarantee pursuant to Article 33.4.b) of the General Social Security Collection Regulation.
- Instalments of returned undue benefit payments.
On completing payment, you will receive a receipt that will have the same effect as if payment had been made at the Social Security Treasury General.
Using this service is free, with no added commission or charge.
What you need to do it
- Certificate of debt or certificate of income. You must indicate the reference or case number and the account number indicated on the document.
- A credit or debit card and its relevant security details (password, PIN, etc.).

To ensure secure payment, the user must enter the data required by the bank that issued the card (secret key sent by SMS to the mobile of the card holder, PIN + NIF, PIC or secret ID key provided by the issuing financial entity to the card holder)"

- Payment requirements: the following details must be entered correctly:
- Surname(s) and first name of the debtor or registered name of the debtor company.
- NIF/NIE of the debtor.
- Case reference number.
- Account number/IBAN: this must include all the digits of the account stated on the debt or payment document. You must subsequently check that the details on screen match those on the debt or payment document.
- Proof of payment: after completing the payment operation you will see a receipt for the transaction completed on the screen; this will be your proof of payment. Don’t forget to print it or save the PDF file.
The proof of payment will take effect for those responsible for the payment as if the deposit had been made in the Social Security Treasury General using any other method of payment, and consequently, they will be released from responsibilities towards it, on the date the money enters the restricted account of the Social Security Treasury General for the amounts stated in the proof of payment. A debtor who has been issued the corresponding proof of payment may request a document certifying that the payment was made from the TGSS, who shall issue it.
The following information will be detailed in the proof of payment issued:
- Bank account/IBAN: number of the account into which the payment has been made.
- Surname(s) and first name of the debtor or registered name of the debtor company.
- NIF / NIE of the debtor.
- Reference or case number.
- Transaction ID. Unique numerical code that identifies each of the payment transactions carried out and can be used to track and monitor said transactions.
- Quantity: this is the sum of the payment made using a debit or credit card.
- Date and time: day of the payment transaction including the hour, minute and second.
- Transaction result: when the transaction has been completed successfully, the following will appear on the proof of payment: “The payment has been made successfully".
- Payment effect: Payments made using a debit or credit card shall be considered to have been made on the date on which the funds enter the restricted account of the Social Security Treasury General to which the payment is made. As a general rule, from 24 to 48 hours after the transaction is correctly made at the connection terminal.
If for any reason the deposit corresponding to a payment made by debit or credit card is made after 48 hours, the payment shall be deemed to have been made on the date on which said payment reaches the restricted account of the Social Security Treasury General assigned at the time the payment was made.
