You can use this service to apply via Electronic Register for financial benefit for the care of minors suffering from cancer or other serious illness where this should be processed by the Spanish National Social Security Institute (INSS).

About this procedure

Who it is aimed at

For   workers of either sex who have to reduce their working hours to dedicate their time to the direct, continuous and permanent care of a minor affected by cancer or another serious illness and who wish to apply for financial support.

What does it allow you to do

  • Apply via the Electronic Register.
  • Download and attach the form.
  • Attach documentation.

What you need to do it

  • Fill in the corresponding application  form/s  .
  • Attach copies of all documents detailed in the instructions.
  • Have software that allows you to fill in  and save the application form to then be attached.

To be taken into account

If you access with User + Password (permanent Cl@ve), in order to guarantee a higher level of security, a code will be sent via SMS to the mobile phone number you declared during the registration process, which you must enter in order to be able to sign the communication in the electronic register.

The processing province is the one to which you wish to submit your application.

The Observations section should only be filled in when an application form is not attached.

The connection session is temporarily limited, so if it expires while you are filling in the application you will have to start it again and finish the pending actions.

You must provide documentation stating that you are no longer susceptible to any cause of incompatibility that until now would prevent you from receiving the benefit.

If you are acting as a representative, you must attach the standard form of representation, which appears in the attached documentation section, or any other legally valid document that provides reliable proof of representation.

The total size of the documents to be attached must not exceed 10 Mb.

Next steps

You will receive an "acknowledgement of receipt" in PDF format once you have completed the procedure.

If you do not receive the confirmation message, or if you receive an error or failed sending message, you should resubmit the application at another time or use other means.

The INSS will send the resolution of the application to the address of the interested party.
