This service allows you to request an appointment to carry out a Maritime Vessel Medical Examination

About this procedure

Who it is for

Spanish citizens or citizens of other nationalities who want to carry out professional activity on board a Spanish-registered ship and who meet the legal requirements to work and be enrolled on the ships.

What you can do

  • Request Analysis, Nursing and Medical appointment.

What you need to do it

  • You will need to have carried out a Maritime Vessel Medical Examination or have a Basic Safety Training Certificate awarded from a course taken at the Social Marine Institute.
  • You will also need to answer a security question. All of the data is mandatory and must match the data stored in the system in order for you to successfully log in.

Please note

With this service you can request the three appointments required by the RMEM (analysis, nursing and medical), which will be effective from the time of request. A registration number will be assigned and they will appear in the Task box of the Health at Sea Centre for which they were arranged.
