File an appeal with the Social Security General Treasury < Go back

Using this service, you can download different electronic forms for the administrative appeals you can lodge against decisions issued by the Social Security Treasury General.

About this procedure

Who it is aimed at

Individuals or legal entities who will submit, either in their own name or on behalf of another person or legal entity, an appeal against an action by the Social Security General Treasury.

What does it allow you to do

  • Submit an Electronic Register application for any of the following appeals:
    • appeal,
    • appeal against a debt claim,
    • optional appeal for reversal,
    • claim prior to third party proceedings,
    • granting power of attorney.
  • Download and attach an application form.
  • Attach documentation.

What you need to do it

  • Complete and attach any of the aforementioned forms.
  • Attach a certified copy of the documents listed in the instructions.
  • Have software that enables you to fill in and save the application form to be attached.

To be taken into account

If you access with User + Password (permanent Cl@ve), in order to guarantee a higher level of security, a code will be sent via SMS to the mobile phone number you declared during the registration process, which you must enter in order to be able to sign the communication in the electronic register.

The total size of the documents to be attached must not exceed 10 Mb.

Next steps

You will receive an "acknowledgement of receipt" in PDF format once you have completed the procedure.

If you do not receive the confirmation message, or if you receive an error or failed sending message, you should resubmit the application at another time or use other means.

Monitoring the appeal:

The Social Security General Treasury will provide a case reference number. This number will be stated on a document that will be sent by post once the appeal has been lodged and the case opened by the Processing Unit.
