Standardisation of Specific Initial and Advanced Health Training certificates (REM) < Go back

This service allows you to apply for the issue of Specific Health Training certificates regulated under Order PRE/646/2004, of 5 March, which establishes the minimum content of specific health training programmes and the conditions for issuing and standardising health training certificates for seafarers.

About this procedure

Who is it for

  • For personnel who have completed courses regulated under Order PRE/646/2004, of 5 March, and passed the relevant theory and practical exams.
  • For holders of the Qualifications: "Technician in Supervision and Control of vessel engines and installations" or "Technician in Navigation, Fishing and Maritime Transport", or equivalent, issued by the competent Education Authorities.
  • For holders of qualifications issued by Higher Educational Centres of the Merchant Navy or Faculties of the Merchant Navy, or equivalent.

What can you do

  • Complete an Electronic Register application.
  • Download and attach an application form.

What do I need to do

  • Fill in and attach the application form.
  • Have software that enables you to fill in and save the application to then be attached it.

Please remember

The application must be accompanied by documentation, original or a certified photocopy, that must be provided in person.

Next steps

Once you have completed the procedure you will receive "proof of receipt" (zip) comprising the application receipt in PDF format and the server signature that guarantees the transaction was completed correctly.

If you do not receive the confirmation message, or if you receive an error or failed sending message, you should  resubmit the application at another time or use other channels.
