Through this service you can request an appointment to carry out a Maritime Vessel Medical Examination.
Spanish citizens or citizens of other nationalities who want to carry out professional activity on board a Spanish-registered ship and who meet the legal requirements to work and be enrolled on the ships.
Request appointment in the Nursing Department.
You will need to have carried out a Maritime Vessel Medical Examination or have a Basic Safety Training Certificate awarded from a course taken at the Social Marine Institute.
If you access the service without using your digital certificate a screen will appear during the log-in prompting you to enter your personal details. You will be asked to complete it with the following data: Type of identification document, Number of document (NIF, NIE or Passport), Date of Birth, First Name, First Surname and Second Surname.
You will also need to answer a security question. All of the data is mandatory and must match the data stored in the system in order for you to successfully log in.
The service is only available for appointments made by nursing staff. For all other appointments, you will need to have carried out a Maritime Vessel Medical Examination (scientific and medical) and the Health at Sea Centre will contact the interested person.
This will be carried out via the phone or through email.
