Personal declaration of dependent children of an applicant for temporary disability benefits < Go back

This service allows workers to declare their dependent children for the processing of temporary disability paid directly by the INSS.

About this procedure

Who is it for

For workers who are applying for  temporary disability benefits, and have dependent children  under 26 years of age or older with a disability of 33% or above.

What can you do

  • Complete an Electronic Register declaration.
  • Attach documentation.

What do I need to do

  • Fill in and attach the declaration form.
  • Attach a copy of the documents listed in the instructions.
  • You must have software that will let you attach the required documentation.

Please remember

If you are logging in with a Username + Password (permanent Cl@ve), in order to guarantee a higher level of security, you will be sent an SMS to the mobile number that you provided at the time of registration. You will need to enter the code sent in the SMS in the login section.

Using this form the worker  can declare dependent children, which is necessary to calculate the benefit and to apply the limits in compliance with  article 211.3 of the General Law of Social Security.

The attached documents must not exceed a total of 5 Mb.

Next steps

Once you have completed the procedure you will receive "proof of receipt" (zip) comprising the application receipt in PDF format and the server signature that ensures the transaction was processed correctly.
If you do not receive the confirmation message, or if you receive an error or failed transmission message, you should resubmit the application at another time or use other channels.

The National Social Security Institute will send the application resolution to the address of the person concerned.
