Prior appointment for benefits and other procedures

With this service, you can make and manage prior appointments for procedures at Spanish National Social Security Institute (INSS)or Social Marine Institute (ISM) offices open to the public. Remember that you can also complete procedures online, at any time and without travelling, at this e-Office. You can also call the information number 901 16 65 65 (INSS) or you can write to use with your queries.

    CLAIMING BENEFITS WITHOUT TRAVELLING

    You can apply for benefits without having to travel.

    We recommend that you carry out your procedure, provided you have an electronic ID card, electronic certificate or cl@ve password, through the Your Social Security portal or through our E-Office.

    If you do not have an electronic certificate or a cl@ve user, you can request it in person by making an appointment through the Social Security Electronic Headquarters, by clicking on Citizens, prior appointment for pensions and other, and other procedures and Access to the service without a certificate.

    In addition, if you do not have a cl@ve certificate or user  you can use the "Submission of other documents, applications and notices (National Social Security Institute)" service to send us your application. To do so, please send us the official template of the application you wish to carry out, which you can download from the Forms and templates section of our website.

    As part of the appointment options, we also offer you the service  by telephone by appointment,  where we will contact you on the day and time set to provide you with the information or the procedure you request without you having to be present at our offices or, if necessary, provide you with an appointment at our centres. To do so, make an appointment as explained above and select the telephone service option.

    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation and to reduce the number of people at open centres, we have reduced the number of appointments available to minimise people coinciding in said places, so appointments may not be available at some times and for certain locations. We apologise for any inconvenience.

    IMPORTANT

    This pre-appointment service IS NOT FOR PROCEDURES RELATED TO MINIMUM VITAL INCOME, it is only for procedures with the Social Marine Institute. If you request an appointment for the Minimum Vital Income in this service, YOU WILL NOT BE ASSISTED and will prevent another citizens from being able to carry out their procedures at the Social Marine Institute. Please be responsible.
     
    Given the situation caused by COVID-19 and to avoid the risk of contagion, Social Marine Institute (ISM) offices may only be accessed with prior appointment. You should wear a mask and go alone, unless you require the assistance of another person, and follow the hygiene and safety measures indicated. Do not turn up more than 10 minutes prior to your assigned time to avoid agglomerations in the office. If you are earlier and the minimum safe distance cannot be maintained inside the office, you must wait for your turn outside.
     
    Avoid going to the offices if you can access the information you need or complete the relevant procedure online or by telephone.
     
    If you wish to do so, you can also make an appointment by telephone by calling these numbers, with operating hours from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 14:00.
